4) How the Extension Works

When you select a domain and run cleanup, the Extension uses Chrome APIs to remove browser data associated with that domain, such as:

• Other site data supported by Chrome

All operations occur locally on your device.

5) Permissions Explained

The Extension may request the following permissions solely to provide its functionality:

• activeTab – detects the currently active tab to identify the domain you want to clean.
• tabs – reads basic tab information (such as URL) to determine the target domain.
• browsingData – clears site-related browser data based on your command.
• storage – saves your preferences locally (e.g., selected options). No cloud sync is used by us.
• Host permissions (site access) – enables cleanup for user-selected domains. We do not collect site content.

We do not request these permissions to monitor you, track you, or collect browsing history.

6) Data Sharing

We do not share any user data with third parties because the Extension does not collect or transmit user data.

7) Remote Code and Third-Party Libraries

• The Extension does not load or execute remote code.
• All core logic is packaged within the extension.
• If any third-party libraries are used, they are bundled locally and do not send data to external servers by default.

8) Security

We follow reasonable security practices to reduce risk, including:

• Minimizing permissions to what is necessary
• Avoiding remote code execution
