Acceptable Use Policy – AhliWeb.com

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is one of the four core legal documents that govern your relationship with PT Ahli Web Internasional ("AhliWeb"). Together with our Terms of Service (ToS), Privacy Policy, and Billing Policy (collectively, the "Agreement"), it sets clear expectations for lawful, ethical, and resource-conscious use of AhliWeb’s infrastructure.

The AUP’s goals are to:

Protect our users, network, and reputation.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian law, global best practice, and Islamic ethics.
Provide a reliable, high-performance environment for all Clients, Resellers, Collaborators, and their end-users.

1. Scope & Applicability

This AUP applies to all use of AhliWeb infrastructure—shared hosting, VPS, cloud, SaaS, dedicated servers, e‑mail services, APIs, and any system managed by AhliWeb—by:

Clients (end‑users),
Resellers and their Sub‑Clients, and
Collaborators/partners who integrate or co‑host with AhliWeb.

Failure to comply may result in suspension or termination of Services in accordance with the Agreement.

2. General Principles

Legality – Users must obey all applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia and international treaties.
Syariah Compliance – Content or activity classified as haram by Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) or Lajnah Daimah is forbidden.
No harm – Users must not impair the integrity, performance, or security of AhliWeb’s network, other users, or third parties.
Accountability – Each User is responsible for actions performed from their account or sub‑accounts.

Syariah Guidelines

Users shall not knowingly engage in or facilitate activities that involve riba (interest‑based finance), gharar (excessive uncertainty), or maysir (gambling/speculation). Administrative fees charged under this Agreement represent actual operational costs and are not interest‑bearing. If any clause in this AUP conflicts with a recognised Shariah ruling, the parties shall seek an amicable, Shariah‑compliant solution before taking legal action.

3. Prohibited Content & Activities

3.1 Illegal or Infringing

Copyright‑infringing software, warez, or ROMs.
Trademark or patent violations.
Content that violates Indonesian criminal statutes (pornography, SARA hate speech, gambling, money‑game/ponzi schemes, phishing, hacking tutorials, etc.).

3.2 Syariah‑Prohibited

Promotion or sale of alcohol, riba‑based financial products, tobacco, or gambling.
Pornographic or sexually explicit material.

3.3 Network‑Abusive

Spreading malware, botnets, or running IRC bots/proxies.
Crypto‑mining, torrent seeding, or game servers on shared/cloud plans.
Hosting or linking to phishing pages.

3.4 Server‑Intensive Scripts

Scripts consuming > 20 % CPU for > 90 seconds.
Real‑time chat scripts (unless external SaaS such as Tawk.to).
Image/file hosting or storage‑only usage on shared/cloud plans.

4. E-mail & Anti-Spam Rules

No SPAM – Mass unsolicited e‑mail, mail‑bombing, or hate‑mail is forbidden.
Shared/cloud limits: 100 e‑mails/hour/domain, 10 GB mailbox quota, 50 MB attachment.
Resellers must enforce these limits on Sub‑Clients.

AhliWeb may throttle or suspend accounts exceeding limits.

6. Data Transfer & Bandwidth

Bandwidth is capped per plan and resets monthly. Exceeding the quota triggers automatic suspension until upgrade or next cycle.

7. Security & Abuse Reporting

Auto-Suspension – Accounts detected with malware (e.g., PHP SHELL, Trojan) or defacement will be auto-suspended.
Report violations to [email protected] or WhatsApp (+62) 895‑1338‑0400 with supporting evidence.
Users must maintain updated CMS/scripts and perform regular backups.

8. Enforcement & Remediation

Notice – For minor infractions, AhliWeb will send a warning with twenty‑four (24) hours to remedy.
Immediate Action – Severe or repeated breaches may lead to instant suspension without prior notice.
No Refund – Accounts terminated for AUP breach are ineligible for refunds.
Restoration Fee — AhliWeb may charge IDR 150 k for manual unsuspension/cleanup. This is a one‑time administrative cost to cover operational effort, not an interest penalty, and is compliant with Shariah principles.

9. Amendments

We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes become effective upon posting on our website and notification via e‑mail/dashboard. Continued use signifies acceptance.
